The patient came in for a preventive check-up. During the examination, darkening and pigmentation were found in the fissures of a chewing tooth.

During the clinical examination, fissure caries was diagnosed.
The working field was isolated with a rubber dam to ensure dryness and sterility. Gentle preparation of the affected tissues was performed with maximum preservation of healthy tooth structure.
Restoration and result
The carious lesion was completely eliminated, and the tooth's anatomy and function were restored. The restoration looks natural, seals the fissures tightly, and provides long-lasting protection against recurring caries.
