Treatment of multiple caries
The patient came in with complaints of sensitivity while eating. The examination revealed multiple carious lesions in the chewing teeth.
Diagnosis and treatment
Multiple fissure caries in several molars was clinically diagnosed.
A rubber dam isolation was performed for full moisture and infection control. The affected tissues were removed in stages with maximum preservation of healthy tooth structures, and the cavities were medically treated.
Restoration and result
A layered artistic restoration was performed using modern photopolymer materials, recreating the natural anatomy of the chewing surfaces, fissures, and occlusal contacts.
The carious lesions were completely eliminated, and the chewing function and natural anatomy of the teeth were restored. The restorations are tight, aesthetic, and provide a long-lasting clinical result.
