About me

A short video and my story – my approach to treatment and patient comfort

I am a dentist and prosthodontist specialising in prosthetic dentistry and gnathology, a co-founder of MistoDent and the medical director of the network. I graduated in dentistry in 2001 from Kharkiv National Medical University. In clinical practice I restore the function and aesthetics of the smile — from microprosthetics to comprehensive bite reconstructions.

I have been building MistoDent since 2008. As medical director I am responsible for developing diagnostic and treatment standards, implementing modern protocols, and coordinating doctors of different specialisations across the whole network.

I hold an academic degree in medical sciences and have academic teaching experience. I am president of the Association of Prosthodontists and Dental Technicians of Ukraine, an author of scientific publications, and a lecturer and speaker at professional training events.

I am also the founder of the MistoDent inLab digital laboratory and MistoDent Center of Education. I combine clinical practice, science and medical management so that the experience gained in working with patients translates into the treatment standards applied across the entire MistoDent network.

Frequently asked questions

How long does reconstructive bite restoration take?

Bite reconstruction can take from a few weeks to a few months. The time depends on the extent of the restoration, the condition of the teeth and bite, and the prosthetic restorations chosen.

What is the difference between veneers and inlays?

Veneers mainly improve the appearance of the front teeth — their shape, colour and proportions. Inlays, onlays and overlays are used to rebuild damaged tooth tissue, most often in the posterior section.

Can tooth alignment be improved without orthodontic treatment?

With minor irregularities, the appearance of the teeth can be improved with bonding or veneers. More significant bite defects and tooth misalignment usually require orthodontic treatment.

How do I know whether implant-supported prosthetics are needed?

Implant-supported dentures can be used when many or all teeth are missing. Whether a restoration on dental implants is possible is decided by the doctor after assessing the bone, gums and bite conditions.
